65 Knots in Brighton Marina

by Adrian on November 21, 2012

We had a violent front pass over us today in the marina. It went from calm to three hours of 40 knot continuous winds with 65 knot gusts.

It’s not often we heel over in a marina berth!

…the forecast for tomorrow is much the same – force 9 and above. Glad we’re not sailing!

Hi you guys ! You have to come to Mallorca or south-east of France and you will see that ! We had often this wind and the boats as yours in the marina here , do you know that 3 years ago , end of October , 24 boats sank in puerto Andratx the same day ????

And you have a wonderful and secure boat :))

What will be your next trip ?

Kindly
Chantal

Hi Chantal,
Sorry to hear your news – it’s such a shame. It was so nice to meet you in September, and you had such an exciting plan.

Next year we’re going to sail all around the UK and then maybe across to the Caribbean next November – depending on finances and work.

Keep in touch. Adrian & Jax
